I’m so pleased to have so many talented creative people involved in the visual side of my music. Amy Joy Watson’s beautiful sculpture work made from balsa wood stitched together ‘conjures dreams of the otherworldly; cute, innocent creatures that harbour hidden energies and a mystery that enthralls’ (Nathan Kelly, Rooms Magazine 2011). I feel drawn to her sculptures – even just the images of them – so I can’t wait to finally get to see them for real (they are all the way over in my home town of Adelaide where Amy lives!). I couldn’t believe my luck when I discovered Amy’s heart sculpture just as I was looking for coverart for my first single – couldn’t be more perfect. Look out for more of Amy’s work on my forthcoming Long Way Home EP also!
My good friend Lisa Cant has also designed me the perfect logo based on lots of discussions about my German background, folkart and early 20th century modernist design and she got it so right!
